CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan is having a pet adoption event from noon to 4 p.m. today at the Chesterfield Walmart.
Cute rescue dogs and rescue kittens are available but it's also a chance to chat with the people from the society whose passion is to help animals. Shawn Ley spent some time at the event to learn more about what the organization does.
