Bucks coming off big win over Los Angeles Lakers

DETROIT – The Milwaukee Bucks topped the Detroit Pistons on Jan. 12, 102- 93.

Since then, the Pistons (4-17) have won just two games. Monday night's meeting is Detroit's second of four this season with the Bucks (8-11).

The Bucks just beat the Los Angeles Lakers by 11 points, 100-89. That came after a tough loss at the hands of the Chicago Bulls. It has been a young season of ups and downs for a promising Milwaukee group.

As for Detroit, the season has been mostly down. The Pistons had two positive showings this past week with close losses to Miami and Atlanta. But those were still losses.

Saturday night's 95-74 loss against the Philadelphia 76ers was more indicative of how this season has gone for the Pistons. Detroit committed 12 turnovers and shot just 34.9 percent from the field.

Contrarily, the Bucks shot 50 percent against the Lakers (12-9).

Detroit needs to clean up on turnovers and get more opportunistic with the ball if they don't want to get crushed in Milwaukee.

Tip off is just after 8 p.m.
