The Michigan State Spartans basketball team earned a No. 9 seed in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament and will play No. 8 Miami in the First Round on Friday.
The Spartans finished with a 19-14 record this season after a quarterfinals loss to Minnesota in the Big Ten Tournament.
