EAST LANSING, Mich. – This year’s Michigan vs. Michigan State football matchup on Oct. 30 in East Lansing will kick off at noon, the Big Ten announced.

Michigan State will go into the game with a 7-0 record. The Spartans are ranked No. 9 in the AP poll and have a bye week before the matchup.

Michigan, meanwhile, is coming off its bye and faces Northwestern this weekend. The Wolverines are 6-0 and ranked No. 6 nationally.

The in-state rivalry will be broadcast on FOX. The other top Big Ten matchup, Penn State at Ohio State, will air at 7:30 p.m. on ABC.

Last season, Michigan State went into Ann Arbor and shocked a heavily favored Michigan team in Mel Tucker’s first trip to the Big House. The road team has won five of the last six Michigan vs. Michigan State games, with the lone exception coming in 2019.
