SEATTLE – The Detroit Tigers have advanced to the American League Division Series, where they will face the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park.
Detroit took down divisional foe the Cleveland Guardians 3-1 in the American League Wild Card inside Progressive Field and will head to Seattle on Saturday (Oct. 4) with first pitch slated for 8:38 p.m.

The Tigers announced Troy Melton as the starting pitcher for Game 1, with ace Tarik Skubal in line for Game 2.
Comerica Park will host ALDS Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and Wednesday, Oct. 8, if necessary.
First pitch for these games is 3:08 p.m. and 4:08 p.m.
A special postseason drone show, presented by Meijer, will take place outside Comerica Park on Monday at 8 p.m.
Fans can also enjoy Built for October Postseason Block Parties, presented by Meijer, held outside the stadium before the ALDS home games.
All fans entering Comerica Park for the postseason games will receive a Postseason Rally Towel, also presented by Meijer.
Fans are encouraged to wear orange throughout the postseason and are advised to arrive early to participate in the pregame festivities.
The gates at Comerica Park will open two hours before the first pitch for ALDS games.
In addition to the games, the Tigers will visit the Roberto Clemente Learning Academy on Friday, Oct. 3, to engage with Detroit youth ahead of the ALDS.
Third-to fifth-grade students with perfect attendance this year will participate in activities energized by a DJ, receive temporary tattoos from an airbrush artist, and receive Tigers giveaway items.
Students will split into two groups for different activities: one focused on drawing and art, where they will create Tigers-themed artwork to be displayed between the clubhouse and dugout at Comerica Park during the postseason; the other group will participate in baseball and softball drills and compete in a wiffle ball game.

The Mariners also rank third in MLB play with 238 total home runs, averaging 1.5 per game.
Detroit has a 41-40 record in road games and an 87-75 record overall.
The Tigers rank fifth in the AL with 198 total home runs, averaging 1.2 per game.
