Michael Fulmer will pitch Opening Day for the Tigers in Detroit
Opening Day is Friday, April 7 at Comerica Park
DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers announced Saturday pitcher Michael Fulmer will start on the mound for Detroit's Opening Day on April 7 at Comerica Park.
The Tigers face the Boston Red Sox for this year's home opener.
The Tigers open the 2017 season on the road against the Chicago White Sox, but will be back home to open up Comerica Park on Friday, April 7.
