Michigan football will have another 10-win season while Michigan State football will improve from a 3-9 season to 6-6 in 2017, according to USA Today's preseason projections

That means coach Jim Harbaugh's Wolverines will lose to Ohio State, as USA Today has the Buckeyes going 12-0 this season to win the Big Ten Conference.

Meanwhile, coach Mark Dantonio's Spartans will leap from a 1-8 conference record to a 4-5 conference record. That's a pretty nice turnaround for the Spartans, who entered a downward spiral this past season.

Michigan will open the 2017 season on Sept. 2 with a game against the Florida Gators on a neutral site in Texas. They will open Big Ten play on Sept. 23 at Purdue. The Wolverines play Michigan State at home on Oct. 7 and they also host the Ohio State Buckeyes on Nov. 25.

Michigan State's first game is Sept. 2 against Bowling Green. The Spartans will host Notre Dame on Sept. 23. They have to travel to Ohio State on Nov. 11.
