ANN ARBOR, MI -- A new “cannabus” tour is providing an opportunity to explore Ann Arbor’s history and dispensaries through a marijuana tour of the city. MaryJane Tours, which launched on July 11, is a bus tour of the marijuana industry in Ann Arbor. After boarding the MaryJane Tour bus, the group then goes to the University of Michigan’s Diag for a discussion about the history of the marijuana industry in Ann Arbor. “…It’s kind of a solemn moment because it reminds people how lucky we are to be standing there on a cannabis tour [without repercussion].”Teaching people about the history of marijuana activism is an important part of the tour, Freed said. “I’m not just teaching the history of cannabis,” Freed said.
