A new collaborative artwork representing Detroit’s rich maritime history was officially unveiled at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum on Belle Isle on Wednesday.

As the first and only U.S. city to be designated an UNESCO City of Design, Detroit is part of a global network of over 40 cities using design to make life better for everyone.
