Watch: New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo speaks amid sexual harassment claims, impeachment inquiry
The New York Assembly Judiciary Committee announced Monday that it expects to finish reviewing evidence for impeachment within the next few weeks. The governor is expected to address the 165-page report, which includes interviews with 179 witnesses and a review of thousands of documents. The monthslong probe found that Cuomo "sexually harassed multiple women and in doing so violated federal and state law," Attonery General Letitia James said at a press conference last week. There were no specific penalties tied to the report, James noted. Cuomo strongly denied the claims of the report last week.cnbc.com
Huron County Sheriff deputy charged with indecent exposure
A deputy with the Huron County Sheriffs Office has been charged with three counts of aggravated indecent exposure after he was accused of exposing himself multiple times to a Port Austin woman. Patrick OBrien was arraigned Thursday on the charges following an investigation by Michigan State Police and reviewed by the Attorney Generals Office, according to a press release. The incidents occurred between July 26 and 27 in Port Austin when OBrien reportedly exposed himself multiple times intentionally and masturbated in an area visible to the public through a window of his home. He was off duty at the times of the reported incidents, the press release read. OBrien was placed on administrative leave.
