Get into the Halloween spirit at this supernatural brewpub
At Supernatural Brewing and Spirits, you could say the food and drink are out of this world. A group of friends created this brewpub to be a place they wanted to hang out. Once they found a building at the intersection of Plymouth and Ann Arbor Roads in Livonia, they seized the opportunity and created Supernatural Brewing and Spirits. They were tossing around names that fit the logo, and when someone said Supernatural, they knew they found their name. If you would like to check out Supernatural Brewing and Spirits (I hear their IPAs are good), they are located at 36685 Plymouth Road in Livonia.
Celebrate Oktoberfest in this brewery’s biergarten
Grosse Pointe Park – Here at Atwater in the Park, the beer is flowing, and the schnitzel is fresh and ready to eat. Atwater continued to grow, and about 7 years ago they took over a church in Grosse Pointe Park, and remade it into a brewpub, calling it Atwater in the Park. Atwater in the Park is located at 1175 Lakepointe Street in Grosse Pointe Park. They are hosting a socially-distant Oktoberfest in their biergarten on October 3rd from noon to midnight. You can also celebrate with them virtually by getting Atwater Beer to-go and tagging them in pictures you post on social media, which they may share.
Arbor Brewing Company relocating original brewpub after 25 years downtown
ANN ARBOR Arbor Brewing Company announced on Tuesday it will be relocating its downtown brewpub to another location in Ann Arbor. The pub and eatery has been in its current location -- a historic building at 114 E Washington St. -- for 25 years. In a Facebook post, the owners reported increasing operating challenges in the downtown location even before the COVID-19 pandemic began. With the end of our lease in sight we have made the decision to move out of this location, wrote the owners. Ann Arbor is in our DNA and it is important to us to be here.
