Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze in a mobile home park in Saginaw County's Bridgeport Township. The mother and child were in one of three trailers that caught fire, authorities said. The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known, and the names of the victims weren't released. Bridgeport Township is about 80 miles (130 kilometers) northwest of Detroit.
