The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect connected to a homicide on the city’s east side.

Anyone who has seen Jada Shannon or knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-5540.

At least 25 police cars were involved in a chase Friday (Feb. 25) that went through multiple locations and ended at Warren Avenue and Dickerson Street on Detroit’s east side.

A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday night at a residence on Detroit’s east side, police said.
