COVID diagnosis postpones another big Michigan concert: Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald reunion
CLARKSTON, MI - Another big upcoming Michigan concert has just been postponed because of a COVID-19 diagnosis. The Doobie Brothers reunion with Michael McDonald had been scheduled for Tuesday, September 2 at DTE Energy Music Theater, but a member of the touring personnel has tested positive for the virus forcing the show to be postponed. Along with the DTE Energy Music Theater concert postponement, The Doobie Brothers plan to reschedule three other upcoming concerts in Burgettstown, Toledo and Cincinnati. The tour marks the first time The Doobie Brothers and McDonald have joined forces in 25 years as the band celebrates its 50th anniversary. This postponement comes a day after Kiss announced the postponement of their September 1st DTE concert.
