OWOSSO, MI -- The Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of a deputy who died of COVID-19 Saturday. Deputy Darrell Henderson, 52, of Owosso, died Sept. 11, at Memorial Healthcare Center in Owosso due to complications from COVID-19, Sheriff Brian BeGole said in a letter. Henderson, who served two years as a corrections deputy with the sheriff’s office, likely contracted COVID-19 while on duty in the jail, the sheriff said. “He treated everyone with respect and brought great spirit to the Sheriff’s Office.”BeGole asked people to keep Henderson’s family and the members of the sheriff’s office in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. “Thank you Darrell for your loyalty to your co-workers and your unwavering commitment to the Sheriff’s Office,” Begole said.

In a year where the tight end position is thin, Brate could be worth a flier. In fact, the sixth-year tight end has put up solid numbers in three of his last four games. Such is the problem with relying on the Texans tight end. But with few consistent options at the position this season, Fells is another guy worth taking a chance on.
