The Detroit Red Wings’ fleeting playoff hopes were dealt a massive blow this weekend. The Philadelphia Flyers scored twice in the second period Sunday to take the lead and defeated the Red Wings 3-1 at Wells Fargo Center. The Red Wings (28-26-9) are winless in six (0-5-1), equaling their season-long drought from Dec. 8-19 (0-4-2). He stopped 34 shots but didn’t get much offensive support from a team that’s scored twice in the past two games.
