DETROIT – A 17-year-old was injured in a shooting Tuesday evening in the 18900 block of Lenore Avenue, according to the Detroit Police Department. Police said that at about 6 p.m., the victim was sitting in his Ford Explorer in the driveway when an unknown vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots. DETROIT Detroit police are searching for 25-year-old Mark Zyla, who was reported missing Monday from his home in the 16500 block of Wormer Street. Police said the girlfriend believes Zyla left in her silver Buick LaCrosse. His girlfriend told police she was concerned for his safety, for he was never before reported missing. He was last seen wearing a light colored t-shirt and dark colored shorts. DETROIT A 36-year-old Detroit man labeled as serious missing was last seen or heard from on Saturday. Detroit police said Erik Phillips reportedly last talked to relatives on the phone and then left his home in the 5000 block of Dailey Avenue. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, white shorts, and white Nike gym shoes and a black baseball cap.
