Michigan father, son sentenced on sex trafficking charges
DETROIT – A father and son are sentenced to years in prison for running a drug and prostitution house in Detroit where they provided women with drugs in exchange for commercial sex acts and were violent with them if they refused, officials said. The men pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to engage in sex trafficking using force and coercion, and firearms and controlled substance offenses, U.S. Attorney Dawn N. Ison said in a statement. Eligah Goodmon, 68, of Detroit, was sentenced last week by U.S. District Judge Laurie Michelson to 111 months in federal prison. The women purchased drugs from Perryman by performing commercial sex dates. Goodmon collected money from commercial sex dates, provided the women with drugs and monitored their drug use.
