Eagles get Jeffery, Sanders back for game against Giants
The NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles have gotten healthier on offense in time for another division game. That means that going into tonight’s Saints-Buccaneers showdown, home teams are 65-65-1 so far this season. The Tennessee Titans already lost left tackle Taylor Lewan for the season, and now they are without left guard Rodger Saffold.

Trey Flowers' elite all-around showing boosts Detroit’s defensive line in dominating win
ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions made some critical defensive adjustments in Sunday’s win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. While Matt Patricia’s defensive adjustments deserve credit, it’s hard to look past what Trey Flowers accomplished in Jacksonville. The Lions defensive end was a monster against the run and turned in a picture-perfect strip-sack of Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew. It was even better against the run, with Detroit’s league-worst run defense holding Jacksonville to just 44 yards on the ground. Heading into the Week 6 matchup, Flowers said he thought the pass rush would improve once the Lions stopped the run.

Injuries to one player opens up the door for another, so it should be a busy week on the waiver wire. In the season opener, Minshew completed a whopping 95 percent of his passes while throwing for three touchdowns and 173 yards. RB Mike Davis, Carolina Panthers: You likely hadn’t heard of Mike Davis prior to this week, but due to the high ankle sprain suffered by McCaffrey on Sunday, Davis is this week’s top waiver wire add. However, fantasy football is all about opportunity, and Davis is likely to get a lot of that over the next month. Gage was targeted another nine times in Week 2, catching six of those passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.

(AP Photo/Wade Payne)NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans know good teams win ugly games, and being 2-0 for the first time in 12 years has a way of making any victory look much prettier. Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 14: 49ers RB Carousel Continues, Raheem Mostert Now Top Option With Breida Out
Here are the top waiver wire adds for Week 14, a.k.a the first round of the fantasy playoffs. While this performance was far from ideal in the biggest week of the fantasy season, Tannehills production over the last month cannot be ignored. With an appetizing matchup against Washington this week, Lazard could find himself open for another deep touchdown in Week 14. As long as Everett is out, Higbee will remain the only reliable tight end in the Rams offense, making him a solid TE1. If your season-long search for a tight end has continued into the fantasy postseason, then Gesicki might just be your answer.

Christian McCaffrey, Aaron Jones and Will Fuller finished with around 45 fantasy points each, while guys such as DJ Chark (32 points), Josh Jacobs (28 points) and Michael Gallup (21 points) exploded onto the fantasy scene with massive outings. Minshew has registered at least 16 fantasy points in every game this season, a remarkable feat for a sixth-round pick that was nowhere near the fantasy radar just a month ago. Brissett entered Week 5 having registered at least 16.5 fantasy points in each of Indys first four games, and topped the 20-point mark in two of those contests. With the Colts entering their bye week, fantasy owners may unload Brissett, giving you the opportunity to snag the 26-year-old quarterback. While the touchdown was Tates first of the season, Week 5 marked the third consecutive week in which the 22-year-old had at least six targets.
