'Arrested Development' actor Jessica Walter dies at 80

The actor's best-known film roles included playing the stalker in Clint Eastwood's 1971 thriller, "Play Misty for Me." โShe was a force, and her talent and timing were unmatched," Tony Hale, her โArrested Developmentโ co-star said on Twitter. โI loved you Jessica Walter.
Police contacted after Ohio State's Liddell receives threats
Liddell received following the Buckeyes' NCAA Tournament loss on Friday. The Atlantic Coast Conferenceโs down year now includes a bumpy start to the NCAA Tournament. The league got seven bids, but four of those teams โ ACC Tournament champion Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Clemson and North Carolina โ lost in Fridayโs first round. Michael Apted, director of โUpโ documentary series, dies

(Photo by Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP, File)Michael Apted, the acclaimed British director of the โUpโ documentary series and films as diverse as the Loretta Lynn biopic โCoal Minerโs Daughterโ and the James Bond film โThe World Is Not Enough,โ has died. A representative for the Directors Guild of America said his family informed the organization that he passed Thursday night. Apted served as a researcher on the first film and took over as director seven years later, continuing to check in with the subjects every seven years. โThe series was an attempt to do a long view of English society,โ Apted told Slant Magazine in 2019.
