Punxsutawney Phil, the legendary groundhog that lives in a tree stump in rural Pennsylvania, has issued the most highly anticipated weather forecast of the season: six more weeks of winter.

It's almost Groundhog Day, but the well-known Punxsutawney Phil isn't a very accurate weather-predicting groundhog.

He gets most of the PR, at least nationally, but Punxsutawney Phil isn't the only groundhog to purport to predict the weather.

A furry critter in a western Pennsylvania town has predicted six more weeks of winter during an annual Groundhog Day celebration.
