Man accused of stealing catalytic converters from buses with accomplice

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking the public for help finding a suspect accused of stealing multiple catalytic converters.

Police said the wanted suspect and an accomplice, Delmar Jijuan-Raffie Williams, allegedly stole 14 catalytic converters from buses at an assisted living center in the 200 block of McDougall at around 6:30 a.m. on July 26.

Williams has already been arrested and charged in connection with the theft. Police are searching for the second suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit Police Department’s 7th Precinct Detective Unit at (313) 596-5740, or make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800 SPEAK UP or DetroitRewards.tv. A $500 reward is offered for information leading to an arrest.
