With a victory in Cincinnati next week, the Ravens (10-5) will earn a playoff berth for the third year in a row. The win got the Browns closer to clinching their first playoff spot since 2002, the NFL’s longest drought. New York's opening drive stalled at the 8 after McCoy's throw to Evan Engram fell incomplete in the end zone. It could've worked, too: Kicker Graham Gano was wide open in the end zone.

The limp was gone as the 38-year-old engineered a fourth-quarter comeback that kept Pittsburgh as the NFL's only unbeaten team. Those are the four games Dallas has been without star Dak Prescott, out for the season with a broken ankle. Roethlisberger's first touchdown came after he injured his left knee after a throw on a hit from defensive tackle Neville Gallimore. “Someone hit me right on the side of the knee, kind of bent my knee a little bit,” Roethlisberger said. “Just had some discomfort.”Gilbert's first touchdown pass was a 20-yarder to Lamb for a 10-0 lead in the second quarter.

Three of Graham Gano's four field goals were from at least 50 yards for the Giants, from 55, 50 and 54. Cowboys: DT Trysten Hill was carted off with a right knee on New York's first drive of the second half.
The Latest: Tough day for last year's Super Bowl teams
This hasn’t been a good day for last season’s two Super Bowl participants. The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season earlier Sunday when they fell 40-32 at home to the Las Vegas Raiders. This is the first time in the Super Bowl era that the two teams that played in the Super Bowl the previous season have allowed at least 40 points at home on the same day. The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers both entered Sunday undefeated. Atlanta cornerback Kendall Sheffield suffered a right ankle injury in the second quarter and was listed as questionable to return.

Williams said he recognized the Giants' play call from earlier in the game, allowing him to anticipate the throw. Graham Gano kicked three field goals in the Giants’ first game in the Los Angeles area since 1994. Los Angeles had racked up at least 400 total yards in each of its first three games.

(AP Photo/Ron Jenkins)FRISCO, TX – With the future of coach Jason Garrett in limbo, the Dallas Cowboys have other reasons to believe there will be plenty of change in 2020 — 23 of them, to be exact. There was no word by late afternoon Monday from owner Jerry Jones on whether Garrett would return for a 10th full season. “In reflection, I'm very fortunate to have spent the time that I did with coach Garrett,” seven-year center Travis Frederick said Monday in a locker room dotted with large plastic bags holding players' belongings. Quinn led the team with 11 1/2 sacks in his first Dallas season following a trade with Miami.
Cowboys QB Prescott plans to play through shoulder injury
FRISCO, TX – Dak Prescott is simply reliving his college days with a shoulder injury that is limiting him in practice for the first time in four seasons as quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. Prescott has shown up on the injury report before with minor, nagging issues, but never been forced to yield practice reps to his backup. “Not that I know of,” Prescott said when asked if he had a hairline fracture. “I wasn't sure if there was one,” said Prescott, who also has been dealing with a sprained left wrist. "But as far as extra stuff, it's tricky when you're putting it on your throwing shoulder.
Cowboys render coin toss mix-up moot, throttle Rams 44-21
(AP Photo/Michael Ainsworth)ARLINGTON, TX – Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys turned “much ado about nothing” over the coin toss into “win and they're in” next weekend. Coming off two of his better games of the season, Rams quarterback Jared Goff had a rough outing that looked better at the end because of his fourth-quarter numbers with the outcome decided. Those two TDs essentially made the coin toss question moot, but the Twitter storm had long since raged. After the Cowboys won the toss, and Prescott initially made a reference to kicking off before saying the Cowboys would defer. (AP Photo/Morry Gash)Jerry Jones tried ripping the coaching staff of the Dallas Cowboys after the first loss in the current three-game skid, then took the gentle approach following the second. "Until we can win a football game, I don’t care what kind of contention we’re in," Jones said. The Cowboys (6—7) have never made the playoffs in a season with two losing streaks of at least three games. Despite seven losses in 10 games, Dallas will be no worse than tied with Philadelphia for the NFC East lead with three games remaining.
Cowboys build model by paying line, Pats win another way
Travis Frederick didn't fully understand the business of football when the Dallas Cowboys drafted their center six years ago and made him an instant starter. Two years ago, New England left tackle Nate Solder was perhaps the most-coveted left tackle in free agency, and the Patriots let him go at age 29 and two years removed from a torn biceps. Oakland coach Jon Gruden has stressed building the offensive line ever since returning to the Raiders before last season. "We thought it was really important as we continue to develop this offensive line." While left tackle has long been the highest-paid position because of protecting a QB's blind side, the value of guards has gone up in recent years.
