Ann Arbor ‘super pair’ schools prepare for new curriculum program this fall
ANN ARBOR, MI - Parent Joe Johnson remains in wait-and-see mode as he watches the elementary schools unveil a new school design on Ann Arbor’s southeast side. “But one thing I don’t want the school to be is the science experiment for the district. The re-envisioning process saw the district commit to adopting an IB curriculum focused on inquiry and global awareness, with the schools entering the “Consideration” phase to this fall. AAPS Superintendent Jeanice Swift said the schools are an ideal match for IB, serving a unique population. AAPS’ $637,000 property purchase adjacent to Bryant will result in an additional entrance to the elementary school’s property to improve access to the campus off of Ellsworth Road by 2024.

He bought the grand champion steer for $10 a pound and donated 75 percent of the meat to various charitable organizations.
