There was a flurry of changes on both sides in the hours before Saturday’s game between the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox. The Tigers scratched shortstop Javier Baez from their original lineup -- the club said he has right knee soreness -- and replaced him with rookie Ryan Kreidler. Meanwhile, the White Sox placed their scheduled Sunday starter -- Michael Kopech -- on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation.
