Suspects in ambush killing at Detroit gas station arrested, police say mom was holding baby when shot
DETROIT -- The Detroit Police Departments says it has arrested a pair of suspects in connection with a fatal shooting at a gas station Monday night. Marshae Nash, 21, and her boyfriend, Benson Lindsey, 22, were shot and killed Monday night while sitting in their car at the Marathon gas station near Ashton and West Warren. At a press conference Tuesday, Detroit Police Chief James White said the victims and suspects were not strangers. Police said there is still work to be done in the case, despite the arrest of the suspects. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call the Detroit Police Department, 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
