“After much consideration, Food Gatherers staff and board have made the difficult decision not to host Grillin’ for Food Gatherers in 2023,” officials wrote in a statement.

This year, the nonprofit is asking for donations for a matching fundraiser with the Harold and Kay Peplau Family Fund, which will match up to $40,000 dollar-for-dollar.

Organized by Acoustic Routes and The Ark, the performance will support The Breakfast at St. Andrew’s during its 40th anniversary.
