Alcohol-friendly social district to launch in downtown Ann Arbor

Wyandotte welcomes St. Patrick’s Day visitors to open container ‘social district’
WYANDOTTE, Mich. – March 17 marks St. Patrick Day, and although the bars aren’t packed as previous years, Wyandotte is allowing several bars in the city’s social district to follow the new open container rules so customers can drink while still being socially distant. Paddy's in the Park a new way to celebrate
Social District will be hoppin’ March 13th with premiere eventGROSSE POINTE PARK — Join the Grosse Pointe News, Grosse Pointe Park TIFA and Grosse Pointe Magazine as we present Paddy’s in the Park, an outdoor St. Patrick’s Day party held in Grosse Pointe Park’s social district. Featured at Red Crown will be Smithwick’s, Mountain Town’s Irish Red ale, Guinness cans, wine and a Danny Boy cocktail with Quiet Man Irish whiskey. To close out the event from 7 to 10 p.m., SuperCrunch will perform on the Atwater in the Park patio and the Weekend ComeBack band will be on the Red Crown patio. Park City Manager Nick Sizeland expressed his excitement for the event after the success of Chilly Fest.
