In the wake of a devastating tragedy at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, neighbors leaned in and offered small comforts that became much bigger.

West Bloomfield’s Soul Cafe is doing more than serving breakfast. It’s helping adults with special needs learn real-life skills and be part of a community.

The Friendship Circle helps more than 3,000 people with special needs along with their families.
