Missy, Willie and George Michael among Rock Hall nominees
Missy Elliott, Willie Nelson, Kate Bush, Iron Maiden, Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, Sheryl Crow and the late George Michael are nominees for 2023 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a list that includes a mix of country, soul, hip-hop, metal, pop, rap-rock and grunge.
You wonโt believe these 10 artists have been passed over for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
Thatโs why we decided to round up a list of artists that are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but absolutely deserve to be one day. Tina TurnerThe legendary singer is already inducted in the Rock Hall of Fame, alongside her ex-husband Ike Turner, but Tina Turner hasnโt been inducted as a solo artist yet. The B-52โฒsItโs a travesty that The B-52โฒs have never even been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. While the Rock Hall doesnโt have a ton of country artists inducted, legends Johnny Cash and Brenda Lee are in the Hall of Fame, so there really isnโt an excuse for Partonโs absence. OutKastRap artists have slowly but surely been getting recognized by the Rock Hall, so itโs only a matter of time before OutKast gets its due.

Toni Cornell, the 15-year-old daughter of late Soundgarden and Audioslave artist Chris Cornell, released her first original song this week. Toni Cornell sang the song again at a musical tribute to her late father in February, this time accompanied by the reggae legend's son, Ziggy Marley. Last year on Father's Day, Toni Cornell posted a duet she and her father sang of Prince's "Nothing Compares 2 U."
