A group of Metro Detroit moms continues to help families as the baby formula crisis continues.

The Abbott baby formula plant in Western Michigan reportedly halted production earlier this week due to “severe weather” that impacted the area.

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer on Friday reached out to leaders at Abbott Nutrition, whose Sturgis Plant was shut down following a recall, about getting production of its baby formula back on track.
