Stanley Cup coming to Big Rapids

Brian Garlock is returning to Big Rapids Sunday, and he will be bringing the Stanley Cup with him. Garlock, a Big Rapids native who played four years with the Ferris State University hockey team, serves as the video coordinator for the Tampa Bay Lightning, which recently captured its second consecutive Stanley Cup. Ferris’ hockey Twitter account announced Wednesday that Garlock and the Cup will be at Buffalo Wild Wings Sunday from 4-8 p.m., and the public is invited. Garlock is a 2003 Big Rapids High School graduate, and he later served as an employee at Ferris’ ice arena.
