TERROR

The Great Salt Lake Is Desolate. It’s Also Divine.

The grandeur of the Great Salt Lake stopped Brigham Young in his tracks and inspired John Muir to jump in for a swim. Yet now it’s in danger of disappearing, sucked dry by agriculture, climate change, and suburban lawns. Many Utahns would just as soon pave it, but as Bill Gifford learned during a yearlong exploration, there’s beauty and natural splendor here that deserves to live on.

Kerbal Space Program 2 will launch Kerbonauts with wild new hairdos and emotions

The developers of the popular video game " Kerbal Space Program ," from Private Division and Intercept Games, wrestled with this question in a recent YouTube video while talking about the upcoming sequel, Kerbal Space Program 2 set to launch in 2022. When the game finally drops, players can expect a lot more emphasis on how the Kerbals — the in-game astronauts — are feeling while they operate interstellar spacecraft. In moments of frustration, they'll scream and flail their hands before they try again to get the spacecraft working. The Kerbals are supposed to represent how we can rise into space from making mistakes repeatedly and learning from them. "They only do the wrong thing all the time," Simpson added of the Kerbals, "but somehow they stumbled into an interstellar civilization."

Inside the traffic stop that set off suspect in Michigan terror plot and led FBI to start arrests

On Sept. 19 just 28 days ago the Local 4 Defenders obtained a Canton police video of a traffic stop. After the stop, Caserta was on his YouTube channel raging against police taking money from citizens. Two FBI informants on the inside of the group sent agents encrypted messages they say were from Caserta. In the messages Caserta noted he found out who the officers were in the traffic stop, where they lived and that he could easily kill them. Sources say it was this traffic stop and the threats afterwards that led the FBI to swoop in and arrest the group.
