ANN ARBOR, MI -- An Ann Arbor pastry shop now has a refreshed menu and a new name after a change in concept. Although the façade sign is still on its way, The Great Commoner, 110 E. Washington St. in Ann Arbor, has been renamed Cannelle. The concept serves up a variety of coffees, sandwiches and French pastries.

ANN ARBOR, MI -- From mini-macarons and pastries piled high with meringue to tiramisu coffee syrups and salmon-laden toast, The Great Commoner is two parts patisserie, one part coffee shop and all parts delightful. The Great Commoner, in Ann Arbor, features a variety of pastries, provided in a partnership with Cannelle, a French patisserie based in Detroit. The Great Commoner, which also has a Dearborn location, also serves a full coffee menu featuring Cannelle coffee syrups, including tiramisu and chocolate hazelnut syrups.
