Ukrainian defenders in Mariupol defy surrender-or-die demand

Anastasia and Katieโs Coffee Shop and Cafรฉ, in Livonia, Michigan, is one of those businesses. But this coffee shop truly embodies its core values and principles, and is working toward its mission every day. The nonprofit organization didnโt just fall into this project of opening and running an all-inclusive coffee shop. And Mi Work Matters aims to create these paid work opportunities for people with developmental disabilities, so it just made sense. By late 2019, the coffee shop had become a reality, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place Jan. 14, 2020.
New, inclusive Livonia coffee shop to provide jobs to young adults with disabilities
LIVONIA, Mich. โ A new Livonia coffee shop will provide an inclusive environment and jobs to many different people, including young adults with disabilities. Anastasia and Katieโs Coffee Shop is slated to open the first week of December. The cafe will employ people with and without disabilities, and will offer them job training and support, including job coaches, to the employees who need them. Mi Work Matters is a nonprofit that provides opportunities to people who have developmental disabilities. Anastasia and Katieโs Coffee Shop is at 19215 Merriman Road in Livonia.
