MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – The eastbound lanes of I-696 are closed in Macomb County due to a crash, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
UPDATE : Speeding semi truck jackknifes on I-696, leaks fuel, causing ‘additional crashes’
The crash happened on eastbound I-595 after Dequindre Road, MDOT said.
All lanes are shut down, as of 4:19 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025.
No additional details about the crash have been revealed.
