Detroit police officers hit by suspected drunk driver on Moross Road Minor injuries reported, driver arrested
DETROIT – Two Detroit police officers suffered minor injuries Friday morning when their squad car was slammed by a suspected drunk driver's vehicle.
The officers were rushing to a reported home invasion about 2:30 a.m. when the crash happened on Moross Road near Balfour Road.
Police said the officers were traveling westbound on Moross Road when a suspected drunk driver blew through a stop sign at Balfour Road. The Chevrolet HHR struck the officer's vehicle and sent it toward a vacant home.
Everyone involved in the crash suffered minor injuries. Police arrested the suspected drunk driver.
