Good Samaritans rescue four people after boat capsizes on Detroit River
Four boaters were rescued Tuesday after a boat capsized on the Detroit River just south of the Gordie Howe International Bridge. Dan Mores, a Good Samaritan who helped with the rescue, said he and his friends were fishing when he noticed the boat. “It was rough. 5-foot waves out there,” Mores said. “I just happened to catch the boat out of the corner of my eye. At the time, all the guys were on the boat, and then I turned, and that was it. It was going down.”
