A pursuit ended in a Detroit driveway with a driver impaled and multiple cars destroyed
A car crashed through a fence and landed on top of two parked vehicles in a residential neighborhood on Detroit’s west side following an apparent police chase. The driver was impaled in the chest by a metal fence post and had to be rescued by firefighters. The two damaged vehicles belonged to Dajaun Matkins, who expressed frustration over the loss but relief that no children were injured. Detroit Police and ICE agents remained at the scene, and inquiries were referred to the Department of Homeland Security.
