Livonia man shot and killed by police after suspected arson

A 61-year-old man was killed by police in Livonia after an explosion and suspected arson at his home on Saint Francis Street. Authorities discovered the home's gas lines had been cut, and the man, armed, was located in a neighbor's backyard where he was fatally shot after allegedly raising his weapon at officers.
