Dearborn Homecoming Festival adds minor curfew, new security measures ahead of weekend event
The Dearborn Homecoming Festival is implementing new security measures, including a 4 p.m. curfew requiring anyone 17 or under to be accompanied by a parent or guardian while on the festival grounds. Additional protocols include designated entry points and bag checks, aiming to increase safety for the anticipated crowds of over 100,000 attendees. While some residents support the changes, others question the timing and effectiveness of the curfew. The festival, featuring headliners Chance the Rapper and Martina McBride, will run throughout the weekend at Ford Field Park.
