Chilly Monday morning, mostly clear

Sunshine to bring highs

DETROIT – Sunshine will bring highs into the low and maybe mid 60s with light winds S 5-10 mph. The record high is 69° and we will fall short of that by about 5 degrees.

We'll start Tuesday sunny and see highs around Metro Detroit into the low 60s again. But, clouds fill in through the afternoon and a few of us may see rain moving through. Right now, model data suggests rain will be in the Saginaw Valley and into our northern suburbs tomorrow afternoon. Most of us will stay mostly dry with partly to mostly cloudy skies with winds ESE 7-12 mph.

Wednesday will get wet. A cold front will approach in the afternoon but not before temps surge into the 60s midweek. Rain showers will be accompanied by breezy conditions late in the day SE 10-25 mph. And, the cold front will move through heading into Thursday dropping temps for the end of our week and weekend. Looks like a rain/snow mix is likely on Saturday ahead.
