DETROIT – Irma has lost its tropical DNA, but it still has enough organization to spit out high clouds and light rain.
We'll see more of those clouds Tuesday night. The extra cloud cover will keep lows milder than normal, in the mid-50s to 60 degrees.
Expect plenty of clouds Wednesday with spots of light rain, especially late in the afternoon and evening. Highs will reach the mid-70s. The air won't be so dry, but it won't be muggy, either.
Dry conditions will return Thursday. We'll still keep the clouds around, however, which will limit temperatures to the mid-70s.
Sunshine will return Friday and stay with us through the weekend. Highs will get close to 80 degrees Friday, and in the low 80s for Saturday and Sunday. A cold front will arrive late Sunday night to bring our next shot at rain.
