Patchy frost will be possible in some areas.

Consider covering sensitive plants or bringing potted plants indoors as a precaution. The 30-year average for the last spring freeze in Detroit is April 22.

By night, it will be mostly clear and cold again. While temperatures will fall to freezing in traditionally cooler communities, much of Metro Detroit will see lows in the mid 30s.

Saturday

Saturday comes with warmer weather, but it also comes with rain showers. Highs will be in the upper 60s to 70 degrees.
