Dry weather continues through Sunday before rain arrives early next week in Metro Detroit

A warming trend will move into the region early next week

Rain showers move back into the region for the start of next week on Tuesday

4Warn Weather – A colder and drier start to the weekend with sunshine and clouds for most everyone and even some people north of Metro Detroit seeing a few flakes in the morning as well will give way to more sunshine and warmer temperatures to end the weekend on Sunday.

High-pressure rules the forecast for the end of the weekend on Sunday, which means we will see plenty of sunshine after clearing things out for most everyone overnight last night and into this morning. There is the potential for some patching Frost this morning as we start out into the low to mid 30s, and warm into the upper 50s by Sunday afternoon.

Mainly clear skies will be expected overnight Sunday night into Monday morning. With overnight lows dropping back into the 30s, we can expect another night of patchy frost possible, especially outside of the metro.

Sunshine will stick around to start the week on Monday but expect more clouds to roll in through the afternoon and into the evening hours. High temperatures heading back into the 60s by the time we get to Monday afternoon.

Another low-pressure system works through the region by the time we get to Tuesday. Clouds will increase Monday night into early on Tuesday morning with rain showers expected throughout the day on Tuesday. High temperatures heading for the lower 60s by Tuesday afternoon.

Drier weather moves back into the region for the middle of the week on Wednesday and into Thursday as well. Another cool down is on the way to the region as well, high temperatures dropping back into the 50s once again for Wednesday and Thursday.

Our next chance of rain moves back into the forecast by the end of the week and into the start of next weekend. Expect the clouds to increase on Friday with rain showers moving back in late Friday and into Saturday. High temperatures into the 60s on Friday will warm-up into the lower 70s by the time we get to Saturday.

Sunday night: Mainly clear skies. Chilly temperatures. Low: 36. Winds: Northwest 5-15 MPH.

Monday: Sunshine in the morning, more clouds moving in during the afternoon and evening. High: 61. Winds: East 5-10 MPH.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy skies. Remaining dry. Low: 47. Winds: South 5-10 MPH.

Tuesday: Cloudy skies. Rain showers likely, breezy winds anticipated. High: 61.
