4Warn Weather – Our Thursday begins with a damp start. Moisture keeps a few showers lingering across the area this morning.
These showers will dry out through the morning.
We’ve got seasonal, more pleasant temperatures on tap today as we top out in the upper 70s. We will slide into the 60s for the OPEN Live concert outside Michigan Central Station tonight.
Some spotty showers are possible this afternoon and evening, but most will stay dry. Lingering rain should move out by 8 p.m.
It will be a little breezy today with wind gusts this afternoon and evening closer to 30 mph.
Tonight’s sunset is at 9:07 p.m.
Rain chances over next few days
Periodic rain chances build back in on Friday as highs slide below average and struggle to reach 70 degrees.
Rain won’t be likely for most on Friday, as the moisture won’t be taking a direct shot at Southeast Michigan.
We do have some chances for scattered showers each day this weekend, though.
Saturday and Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, and highs in the low and mid-70s.
Rain chances are possible Saturday around noon, and again in the later afternoon and evening. Chances will extend into Sunday, but a complete washout is not expected.
We’ll stay breezy through the weekend before warming back to either side of 80 degrees by the middle of next week.
