Monday
Monday will be hot, humid, and mostly sunny. Isolated afternoon and evening showers and storms may develop. Heat indices may approach 100 degrees in some spots.
Expect warm and muggy conditions Monday night, with lows in the lower-70s.
Tuesday
Tuesday will be mostly sunny and hot. There is the chance of a stray shower. The humidity will persist.
At night, it will be partly with the chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be humid, with low in the lower 70s.
Be sure to stay hydrated, avoid direct sun when possible, check in on vulnerable individuals, and monitor weather alerts throughout the week.
By midweek, a shift to cooler, less humid air provides a welcome break, with Thursday through the weekend offering much more tolerable weather for outdoor plans and recovery.
Wednesday
Expect it to be cooler on Wednesday, but still humid, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms returning in the afternoon. Some storms could bring brief heavy rain. Highs will be in the lower- to mid-80s.
It will be milder overnight with a low in the 60s and lingering showers possible.
Looking Ahead
Thursday through Sunday will be noticeably cooler and less humid. Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Nights will be cooler and refreshing, with lows in the upper-50s and lower-60s. Saturday night may feature isolated thunderstorm chances into Sunday morning.
