One more day of rain showers in Metro Detroit before drier weather arrives

Temperatures remaining below average into the weekend and start of next week

Rain showers continue across the region into Thursday before drier weather moves into the region (WDIV)

4Warn Weather – It’s been a rainy stretch across the region over the last few days, but it’s been so much needed rain across the area and we will keep the chance of rain showers into the forecast for one more day looking ahead into our Thursday.

The rain showers thanks to an area of low pressure slowly moving off to the east, moisture pivoting around that area of low pressure has kept us with the scattered rain showers in the forecast.

The rain showers will wind down after midnight, and we will start the day dry but cloudy on Thursday.

But by the time we get to lunchtime and end of the afternoon, expect the rain showers to redevelop and stick around into the mid to late evening hours on Thursday. High temperature is heading back into the low 50s by Thursday afternoon.

We start to dry things out by the end of the week on Friday and end of the first part of the weekend on Saturday.

Expect a filtered sunshine, both Friday and Saturday, and with some of that sunshine temperatures will begin to warm up a bit.

High temperatures into the middle 50s on Friday will warm into the upper 50s by the time we get to the weekend.

As of right now, we are keeping plenty of sunshine into the forecast by the end of the weekend on Sunday, before a little more cloud cover rolls into the region by the beginning of next week on Monday.

High temperatures warming back up into the upper 50s by Monday afternoon.

Looking ahead into the weekend, overnight Lowe’s, Friday night and Saturday night will drop into the low to mid 30s in the Metro, which means we will have some low 30s and possibly upper 20s outside of the metro are waking up both mornings.

While they’re growing season has ended across southeastern Michigan, we are not expecting any frost advisories and/or freeze warnings, looking ahead into the end of the week and start of the weekend, but if you do have some of those fall plants out, you want to bring them inside or cover them up looking ahead into both those nights.

Rain chances returned to the forecast by the time we get to Tuesday, and into the middle of next week on Wednesday.

What temperature is warm up into the lower 60s on Tuesday, we will drop back down into the middle 50s due to the cloud cover and rain showers by the time we get to the middle of next week on Wednesday.
