4Warn Weather – Temperatures will be near 50 degrees in Metro Detroit on Thursday, but we will quickly pay the price on Friday.
Wednesday
If you have errands to run, Wednesday night is your night. Mostly cloudy skies and temps will briefly fall into the upper 20s before rising by morning.
Thursday
Rain moves in Thursday and will become heavy at times, especially during the evening as a powerful cold front drags through the area.
Highs will be in the mid-40s to close to 50 degrees.
Once the front is through, arctic air settles into Metro Detroit.
Friday
This means any standing water will quickly freeze, causing ice and slippery roads through at least Friday morning and perhaps into the afternoon.
