4Warn Weather – We’ve talked about it all week long, and now it’s finally here.

Overnight lows will drop to around zero or slightly colder in most locations.
But it’s the wind chills that are in the danger zone.
Friday
Wind chills by Friday morning will be at least -15 to -20 degrees below zero.
It’s quite possible to be even lower than that, especially by Saturday morning, when the low will be -8 and wind chills as low as -25 degrees.
Weekend forecast
Temps both Friday and Saturday stay in the single digits, with sub-zero wind chills.
Windy and brutally cold all weekend long.
Then our attention shifts to a major storm just to our south, bringing freezing rain and heavy snow from Texas to Virginia and up into Philly and New York.
Next week
We are on the northern edge of this system, but the track has trended a bit farther north in the latest model runs.
Monroe could get clipped with some very heavy snow, but all of Metro Detroit is going have a snowy Sunday into Monday.
